Propose a Class for Spokes Hub
Thank you for expressing interest in teach a class for Spokes Hub! 
Please use this form to tell us about your class. 

We pay $250 per class for a single educator, or $150 for up to two educators.

What kinds of classes we host:
We offer classes that teach "hard skills" like media training, pitching articles, and public speaking.

Additionally, we host "topical" classes on issues related to the sex trade, such as "Race, Class & Sex Work", "Advocating for Men in the Sex Trade", "Sex Work in Contemporary Media", and "Anti-Criminalization" (these are just examples).

What we CANNOT host:
We are legally unable to host classes that teach people how to do sex work. For example, we can't host classes on screening, marketing, or "how to" skill shares related to conducting sex work. 

After you submit your form, Spokes Hub coordinator will review and get back to you within a week. Please note that your class is not confirmed until a coordinator contacts you to schedule your class.

Spokes Hub classes usually happen on Tuesday and Wednesday between 1pm-6pm ET. Please tell us some dates and times that work for you, and what time zone you're in:

For live classes, we usually record a presentation from the educator before having a group discussion (which is not recorded). If you're offering a live class, are you comfortable having your presentation recorded? Recordings are uploaded to YouTube and included in our list of archived classes.

Please note that we prefer materials that are freely available online. We can sometimes purchase materials for students, but it's challenging given our limited capacity:
What questions should students consider as part of your live class or e-learning course?

"Given what we've read for this class, what's one policy recommendation you'd make to improve safety for people in the sex trade?"
We are striving to have diverse perspectives represented in the Spokes Hub cohort.
