What are the advantages of participating in YAC?
- Behind the scenes access to the American Folk Art Museum's exhibitions and collections
- Special field trips to NYC art galleries, museums, and arts organizations
- Create artwork inspired by your experiences
- Learn about careers in the arts by interacting with museum professionals
- Connect with other creative teens
Participation is FREE and includes a MetroCard for getting to and from YAC. A simple lunch will be provided (sandwich-making ingredients, chips, a piece of fruit and a drink). Students are welcome to bring their own lunch.
