Galveston County is hosting a recycling day for our residents so that harmful, toxic, and large items can be recycled or disposed of safely. This is an important event for all and the County has asked the CERT members to participate and perform traffic control and safety during the events hours. The event will be located at the Gulf Greyhound Park in La Marque from 8 am until 5 pm. We will staff the event from 7:30 am until all persons recycling have left the parking area of the park. Shift 1 will be from 7:30 am until 12:30 pm, and Shift 2 will be from Noon until about 5:30 pm or when the last car has left the parking area. Please sign up to help us during this event!
