As we all know, the Qatar Government had announced the return of the residents from Aug onward, subject to certain conditions.  

Akbar Travels taking the initiative in organizing charter flights from India to Qatar.

Travel is subject to the Government approvals and all the travellers should be holding Exceptional return permits as advised by Qatar authorities.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All Passengers should be healthy and willing to observe the COVID protocols and wear appropriate PPE Kits during travel.

All Passengers are recommended to carry a COVID Negative Certificate from an ICMR Approved Lab for own safety. Once confirmed, no refund will be permitted in case of cancellation or no show due to any reasons.  

These are  Charter Operation which requires multiple approvals and date changes are likely to happen.


QUARANTINE CONDITIONS

Quarantine procedure for Indians now is 07 days of Institutional Quarantine. Please follow up with the ministry websites for updated information.  The institutional quarantine will be booked and charged separately.

As per Discover Qatar Website, the below set of people are exempted from Institutional Quarantine when these details are updated. (https://www.discoverqatar.qa/welcome-home/)

The Ministry of Public Health has identified the following categories eligible for home quarantine for 7 days, regardless of the country from which they arrived:
- Those over 55
- Those who have had an organ or spinal cord transplant
- Those who receive immunosuppressive therapy
- Those who suffer from heart disease
- Those who suffer from moderate to severe asthma
- Those who receive cancer treatment
- Pregnant women
- Babysitting mothers with children up to five-years-old
- Those who suffer from kidney failure
- Those with chronic liver disease
- Those with lower limb amputation
- Those with disabilities who require support to carry out activities
- Disabled children and their mothers
- Those who suffer from epilepsy and receive treatment
- Those with diabetic foot
- Those with immediate relatives who have died in the 10 days prior to their arrival
- Those receiving treatment for mental and psychiatric illnesses, and people suffering from claustrophobia
- Those who suffer from diabetes and receive treatment
- Those who have high blood pressure

After the 7 day, home self-isolation has elapsed, the traveller must go to one of the dedicated health centres to get another Coronavirus test. If the result is positive, the traveller will be transferred to isolation, and if it is negative, the quarantine period ends at the end of that week and the traveller's status on the Ehteraz application will change to green.
