Shelby Township Community Park and Recreation Plan Public Input Survey
The survey no longer is open. However, you can still learn more about the proposed Shelby Township Community Park.

Shelby Township has acquired its first dedicated parkland, located on Buchanan Road, between 72nd Avenue and US-31. The Township has formed a Park and Recreation Committee to administer the planning, development, and oversight of this new “Shelby Township Community Park.” A Community Park and Recreation Plan is also being developed to guide the improvements and activities that occur within the Township’s park system over the next five years.

In order to qualify for development grants through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the DNR requires that the governing body has a park and Recreation Plan in place and this plan must be updated every five years.
