2024 Graduate Mentee Sign-Up Form
Thank you for expressing interest in our Professional to Graduate Student Mentoring Program! If selected, we will pair you with a mentor for a six-month long supported program (February - October) and request your feedback at the end of that time. We will reach out to you with more information once your application has been approved.

This program will provide:
  • The opportunity to engage with a professional member within IEEE in a discipline related to your background, goals and interests.
  • Support from the graduate student activities subcommittee, which will review your application, pair you with a mentor and act as a point of contact to mitigate issues that may arise over the runtime of the program.

The requirements for a mentee are:
  • Be an inducted HKN student member who is actively in or accepted into a graduate (M.S, Ph.D., etc) program.
  • Be prepared to engage with your mentor for 2-4 hours per month over the duration of the program.
  • Be ready to take charge of contacting your mentor, arranging meetings and leading discussions. This program is mentee-driven.

Please also review the following resources to prepare:
The deadline for filling out an application is Friday, February 23 2024.

After approval, we will reach out to you for a bio to assisting in the pairing process and introduce you to your mentor.

For questions contact HKN Graduate Student Subcommittee chair Joseph Greene at joeg18@bu.edu.
