We are excited to announce the upcoming Deep Learning Indaba Awards 2023, recognising outstanding research, innovation, and impact in the Artificial Intelligence field and its communities. As part of this prestigious event, we are calling for reviewers to help us evaluate the submissions and select the winners.
For the Kambule Doctoral Award and Alele-Williams Masters Award, we are looking for experts in the field of Deep Learning; Computational and Statistical Sciences; and any related fields who have a proven track record of research, innovation, and impact. As a reviewer, you will evaluate the submissions based on their technical merit, novelty, and potential impact on the field.
For the Mathaai Award, we are looking to all community members for assistance. Reviewers would be responsible for evaluating submissions based on their impact or potential impact to transform African communities positively. This work may be any technological, social, environmental, or economic work relating broadly to the AI field.
All reviews will be treated as confidential, and the Awards committee will assess the final reviews to make final decisions.
Your application should include a summary of your qualifications, experience, and expertise in the Artificial Intelligence field.
The reviewing period is from 8th to 31st May 2023. Reviews will be allocated based on research background/expertise. Reviewers will be asked to answer 5 rating questions and provide a 150-200 word summary via a Google form.
We look forward to hearing from you and working together to make the Deep Learning Indaba Awards 2023 a success. For any questions, please email awards@deeplearningindaba.com.
Sincerely,
Indaba Awards Committee
