Sign up to join the Emergency Conservators Network & help make scrubs for the NHS
UPDATE 25 April:
The first round of fabric is out; next round starts next week.
The dates below are obviously out of date now but give you an idea of turn-around - a week or less.
We are looking for people to ideally sign up for 20 trousers OR tops each, or a minimum of 10. (10 is still very helpful!)

________

Via Holly Fulton of EDN:

Thank you all for your interest and support for the Emergency Designer Network, we are now finalising our initial set of designers and makers and wanted to confirm your interest in the project. If you can outline the below it would be most helpful, please come back to me by Monday afternoon if possible so we can confirm our launch set of designers for the project.
We will split the pieces into tops and trousers so makers have just one garment style to work on. Fabric has been secured from an official NHS manufacturer and patterns are complete. The cloth will be cut when it comes to you and we hope this will arrive in London on Thursday 9th. Our aim would be to get the finished pieces buttonholed and washed as swiftly as possible and hopefully to our first hospital, the Royal Free, round the Easter weekend when they are predicting the biggest spike in the covid outbreak.

Please be realistic about your make capacity within the time frame (fabric drop Friday 10th, pick up ideally Thursday 16th), it is important that we can give as accurate a prediction of the number of sets we can create and get to the NHS as possible. We are anticipating an initial trial of 20 items per person but are happy to amend this in accordance with your own capacity / time.
