Postpartum Education and Support Group:  Spring 2023 Registration Form
In an effort to continue supporting the reproductive wellness needs of women, Love Your Menses, with the support of the Mayor's Office of Women's Advancement (MOWA) is pleased to offer a FREE 10-week postpartum education and support group for Black and Brown individuals who have recently given birth or expecting to give birth soon. The postpartum recovery period is the time where a person recovers from the crucial changes that occurred to their body during the antenatal period to the delivery period. This time is very critical and necessary. Research has shown social support to be proven effective in helping individuals cope with psychological and physical stressors in the postpartum period. In this education and support group there will be:
  • Weekly educational sessions
  • Sister circles
  • Group chats with postpartum doulas and OB/GYNs
  • Postpartum care packages and other giveaways and MUCH MORE!
This program is open to pregnant and postpartum Black and Brown individuals living in Boston, MA. Sessions will start in April 2023! SESSION SCHEDULE:

  • Wednesday, April 19th at 6pm (virtual)
  • Wednesday, April 26th at 6pm (virtual)

  • Wednesday, May 17th at 6pm (virtual)
  • Wednesday, May 24th at 6pm (virtual)
  • Wednesday, May 31st at 6pm (virtual)
  • June 5th, 2023 @TBD time (in person)
There will be an information session offered On March 15 @ 6pm via Zoom. RSVP
