Summer Camp Junior Counselor Application
The junior counselors are the glue that holds camp together! Enthusiasm, patience, and a strong sense of playfulness are key strengths for all junior counselors.  

  • Junior counselors must be 16+ at time application is submitted and have reliable transportation
  • Junior counselors will report to a lead counselor and assist in overseeing a total of 15 campers in their group
  • Junior counselors do not need prior experience working with children, but experience is a plus
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have an interest working up towards a lead counselor position in future years

Important Reminders before you apply:

Camp Dates:

We are looking for a counseling staff who is able to work all three summer sessions.  Please do not apply if you are not available for all three.

Ages 10 & 11: June 3 - 6, 2024 

Ages 8 & 9: June 24 - 27, 2024

Ages 6 & 7: July 15 - 18, 2024

Camp runs from 9:00 - 5:00 each day (Monday - Thursday).  Counselors are expected to be on-site by 8:00 a.m. each day.

Training Requirements:

We will have 2 mandatory training sessions prior to the start of camp and 1 training session after the first camp session.  Please do not apply if these dates and times do not work for you as they are required for all staff.

Sunday, June 2 2024 at 1:30 p.m. (2-hours)

Friday, June 7, 2024  at 9:00 a.m. (1 hour)

Certification Requirements:

Each person will undergo a criminal background check prior to an offer being finalized.  Additionally, you will need to become CPR & First-Aid certified prior to the first day of camp (the cost is covered by The FARM).  If you already have these certifications, you do not need to repeat training.
