There are several kinds of volunteer we'll need during the event. Here are the position titles and brief descriptions of the various jobs:
- Stream Facilitator: Handle the tech wrangling for the various streams. This will involve "promoting" panelists out of attendees, answering tech questions from the audience, unmuting attendees when appropriate, and notifying convention organizers of issues (technical or otherwise) that need their attention. You must be able to run a current version of Windows or Mac OS. (Attending a training session ahead of the con strongly encouraged, but not required.)
- [X Room] Facilitator: Oversee the activities in the various specialty rooms (Consuite, Games room, Dealer's Room, Hallway, etc.) during your shift. Welcome people who arrive, create a friendly atmosphere where people can hang out and meet each other, and facilitate the activity, if any, scheduled for that time.  Will need to be able to run Zoom or Discord and be comfortable with running their interface. (Attending a training session ahead of the con strongly encouraged, but not required.)
- Security Team: Point person and first contact for any security issues. Notify con organizers of any urgent matters. Proactively intervene in situations before they escalate to security issues. Must be comfortable with virtual communication methods, but no specific tech requirements apply. Attending pre-convention training is MANDATORY. (Schedule TBD and will seek to accommodate needs of volunteers.)
- Vendor/ Dealer Liaison - Be the point person for assisting dealers and vendors with a presence during the con. Pre-con check in required, but will accommodate your schedule.
