ADULT (NSCH Member) WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in NSCH related events and activities, the undersigned:
1. Acknowledge and fully understand that each member/participant may be engaging in activities that may involve risk of harm or injury, including permanent disability and death,and severe social and economic losses, which might result not only from each member/participant's own actions, inactions, or negligence but the actions, inactions, or negligence of others, or from the conditions of the premises or of any equipment used. Such activities include but are not limited to:Support Group Meetings, family events, outreach events(e.g.: EnonVillage, xmas caroling), clubs(e.g.:plays, chess, speech and debate), field trips(e.g.: to businesses, museums, historic sites, nature locations) , holiday parties(e.g.: Valentines), standardized testing week (testing and recess), field day (running, jumping and tug of war)and other social and educational events.
2. Assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for all harm, injury and damages arising from the activities described and/or contemplated herein.
3. Acknowledge that I am not being required to participate in the activities described and/or contemplated herein as a condition of my membership, that I am voluntarily agreeing to participate in such activities, and that I am executing this release and waiver as consideration for being allowed to participate in such activities.
4. Release, waive, discharge, covenant not to sue and to hold blameless NSCH, its affiliated clubs, their respective administrators, directors, agents, and other employees of the organization, other members/participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors or premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “releasees,” from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin as well as administrators, personal representatives and assigns, for any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, losses, harms, injuries and damages, and all actions and liabilities of every nature and kind whenever occurring, whether known or unknown, contingent or fixed, at law or in equity, arising from or in connection with the activities described and/or contemplated herein that I may suffer now or hereafter, and I agree to defend, indemnify and save the releasees harmless from and against the same.

Message Board Participation Agreement and Waiver
In consideration of access to, and the use of the North Shore Christian Homeschoolers Message Board, the undersigned understands and agrees that:
1) North Shore Christian Homeschoolers (NSCH) is a non-profit association of Christian homeschoolers, located in the general area north of Boston, MA,comprised of parents (Members),who join together to enhance the academic, spiritual and social homeschooling experience of their students. Members join by their own free will.
2) NSCH owns and operates a website (
www.nschonline.org) to promote the communication of homeschooling ideas and activities within the context of the above.

Www.nschonline.org includes a “Message Board” to further enhance the communication of homeschooling ideas and activities between NSCH Members.
4) The Message Board contains posts from Members that may or may not be monitored by NSCH.
5) The ideas, comments, thoughts, opinions, questions and answers expressed by a Member on the NSCH Message Board are that of the author only and are not endorsed by NSCH nor are they necessarily those of NSCH.
6) Activities posted by NSCH leadership are considered NSCH-sponsored, are identified as“Official” and include NSCH leadership and supervision.
7) All other activities are not sponsored by NSCH and are considered “Member-Sponsored” events.
8) Member-Sponsored events may not use the “North Shore Christian Homeschoolers” name or its abbreviation, “NSCH” for any purpose including, but not limited to the securing of reservations, or obtaining discounted rates. (NSCH may, however, elect to sponsor an event presented to NSCH by a Member or Members.)
9) By participating in a Member-Sponsored activity, they may be engaging in activities that involve the risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death. Severe social and/or economic losses may result not only from their own actions, inactions, or negligence but the action, inaction, and negligence of others, or from the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Furthermore, there may be other risks not known or not reasonably foreseeable by NSCH or the posting Member at the time.
10) Members assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for damages following such injury, permanent disability or death.
11) Release, waive, discharge, covenant not to sue and to hold blameless NSCH,its affiliated clubs, their respective administrators, directors, agents, and other employees of the organization, other members/participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors or premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “releasees,” from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin as well as administrators, personal representatives and assigns, for any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, losses, harms, injuries and damages, and all actions and liabilities of every nature and kind whenever occurring, whether known or unknown, contingent or fixed, at law or in equity, arising from or in connection with the activities described and/or contemplated herein that I may suffer now or hereafter, and I agree to defend, indemnify and save the releasees harmless from and against the same.
12) If any provision of this agreement is held invalid in whole or in part, such invalidity or unenforceability shall apply only to such provision or part thereof and the remaining part of such.
