Based in Christchurch, Ōtautahi our goal is to provide a dedicated platform for techno DJs while also creating a space for devotees to come together and experience the raw power of repetitive beats and deep bass. At the Temple of Techno, we believe in the transcendent nature of the communal dancing experience while using the universal language of electronic music. Our events draw inspiration from the vibrant rave culture of the 90s, and the dynamic spirit of the European underground.

We are constantly on the lookout for new and experienced DJ's with main focus on techno, but also interested in complementary genres:

  • all techno subgenres (raw, hypnotic, industrial, acid, melodic, minimal, hardgroove, breakbeat)
  • house 
  • tech-house
  • hardstyle
  • trance
