Project Crystal Code 2024-2025 Teacher Learning Community Application
Thank you for your interest in Crystal Cove Conservancy’s Project Crystal Code program!

This form is to help us keep track of the schools that would like to participate in Project Crystal Code field trips this year. You do not need to complete this form if you are only planning to run the curriculum in your classroom without the in-person field trips.

At Crystal Cove Conservancy, we recognize that field trip costs can be a barrier to access for many students. As a result, we offer financial support to elementary schools who seek to participate in Project Crystal Code field trips. These funds are reserved for Title I schools.

As an accepted member of Crystal Cove Conservancy’s Project Crystal Teacher Learning Community, you will receive access to:
- Professional development opportunities and workshops;
- A scholarship towards your field trip (normally $300 per class).

By becoming a member, you commit to:
- Attending two professional development workshops, one in the fall or winter and one in the spring;
- Facilitating pre- and post-trip student assessments in the classroom;
- Sending Thank You notes to funders after your field trip;
- Submitting final invoices to Crystal Cove Conservancy within 60 days of your program or by June 10, 2025 (whichever occurs first)

Each school only needs to complete this form once. If more than one seventh grade teacher from your school will be delivering Project Crystal Code curriculum in the classroom and attending the professional development sessions, please include the names and emails of the other teachers below.

If you have any questions about field trip logistics or funding, please contact Chelsea, Crystal Cove Conservancy Education Manager, by emailing chelsea@crystalcove.org.
