Planning PALs: Get Yourself a Conference Buddy
First time to the APA California Conference?  Looking to network with new attendees? Going alone can be hard, especially when you're among hundreds of attendees at a large conference.  We're offering a "buddy system" to pair you with a Planning PAL who has similar interests and would like to meet in Anaheim.

Celebrating CommUNITY at the one-on-one level, you are invited to participate in this free matchmaking program to unite planners together.  Sign up to meet with a fellow Planning PAL who would like to make new professional contacts, compare career ideas, or share stories, triumphs, and expertise.

Planning PALs is a mini version of our APA Orange PEEL mentor program, where we match emerging and experienced planners.  An emerging planner (protégé) is paired with an experienced planner (mentor) who can show how to maximize the conference experience.  This program is open to all conference attendees.

The Planning PALs program involves:
- Matching you with a PAL based on planning interests
- PALs will swap contact information one week prior to the Conference
- PALs are encouraged to meet at least once in our "Collaboration Room," attend a session or event together, and/or connect with others in their networks

Online applications are due Friday, September 16, 2022.  PALs will be sent program guidelines and contact information for their match by Friday, September 23, one week prior to the Conference.
