2024 NPDL-TOC Staff Application 
The NPDL-TOC welcome applications for tournament staff positions. The TOC will be in person at Bard High School Early College in Queens, New York City, and is scheduled for April 6 - 7, 2024. 

For adult positions, the application deadline is February 26, 2024.
For student positions, the deadline is March 13, 2024.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, except as noted. Any person who meets the age qualifications may apply for any position at either NPDL-TOC or NPDL-Nationals tournament, but the NPDL Board encourages people with more experience performing a given tournament role to apply for NPDL-TOC, while Nationals may be a better fit for newer/less experienced coaches to learn the role, with mentorship provided.

We are offering stipends as follows:
Judge Room Lead: $250
Tab Director: $250
Tab Assistant budget is $100 per assistant, or $200 total, whichever is lower
Topic Committee budget is $50 per writer, or $200 total, whichever is lower

You may apply for multiple positions and multiple dates. Applicants for the positions in this section must be at least 18 years old.
 
Most positions require being available during the tournament, except for Topic Committee, Judge Hiring Committee, Jargon Guide Editor, and Judge Questionnaire Editor.

The Judge Room Lead stipend is $250.
The Topic Committee budget is $50 per writer, or $200 total, whichever is lower.
The other positions are volunteer.

The jargon guide editor and judge survey editor will each probably be the same person for both tournaments. These two editing tasks are assigned by the NPDL Legislative Code to specific board members, but may be delegated to volunteers depending on interest. Both documents are subject to board approval.
