According to the Vinaya, monks must stay in one place for three months as a Vassa. In Vassa,
through intensive meditation, monks practice Samatha and Vipassanā which lead to cease of
suffering, learn sutras in depth, and master the teaching of Dhamma.

Two sayalays, Sayalay Sudassi and Sayalay Anatta, will stay in Pa Auk Tawya
Vipassanādhura Hermitage (PATVH ), Georgia for three-month Vassa in 2019. This is the third Vassa for
the hermitage of Georgia. America Dhamma Society (ADS) hopes the seed of Dhamma will be
planted in this land and so more people can get the true benefits of Dhamma in the future.

PATVH, Georgia will accept meditator’s application during vassa period between August 15 and
