JMSU Buddy Scheme
Welcome to the JMSU Buddy Scheme!

Know the city like the back of your hand and want to show it off? Want to enhance your CV and gain skills like leadership and interpersonal skills? Maybe you just love helping and looking out for others. Apply to be a JMSU Buddy, and we will give you full training and ongoing support, access to JMSU Buddy events – and you might even just meet your new BFF.

What we expect from you: A commitment of a minimum of 3 hours per week consisting of – offering peer support to your buddy, attending training, maintaining regular communication with the SU and with your buddy, attending Buddy Events, representing and promoting JMSU, while following our policies and guidelines.

What you can expect from us: Full training, ongoing support, tips on things to do with your buddy, exclusive Buddy Events, an online volunteering hour-logging system, eligibility for our volunteer awards.

This form is for LJMU students who would like to sign up to be a buddy.
