Anytime in the Month of September
Keen to participate in the Sarah Lyman Day of Service but live too far from a city hosting a service event? Then pick your favorite community service project and volunteer any day in the month of September! One idea is to remove trash from your local trails and parks!
Green and wild places have hosted a lot more visitors in the past few years but unfortunately not everyone disposes of waste properly, one of the principles of Leave No Trace ethics. So, grab some gloves and a trash bag, head to your favorite local park or trail and show the outdoors a little love.
Whatever project you choose to do, email alumnae@laurelschool.org with where and when you did your service and include any pictures you want to share. Or post to social media (like the Laurel Alumnae Facebook group) and include #SarahLymanDay23 and #LS4G.
