You are what you eat.  This is a common thought with kids and their eating habits.  We have much the same philosophy with our basketball program.  We design our camps and skills workouts to be very intentional towards the development of your young basketball player.  We know your child will not be able to attend every session.  However, we are giving a significant discount to those parents that commit their child to all we have to offer.  By committing and coming to all the sessions they can, your child will have a notable enhancement in their ability.

PARENT PERMISSION FORM FOR SUMMER PARTICIPATION 2020
In consideration of your acceptance of the application, I hereby release Ray-Pec Coaching Staff, school district employees, and volunteer coaches from all claims on account of injuries which may be sustained by my child while attending summer camp. I understand that any camper who does not abide by camp rules may be dismissed from camp with no refund. In the event of illness or injury, I hereby give my consent for medical treatment and permission to the attending physician to hospitalize, secure proper treatment, and order injections, anesthesia or surgery. I will be responsible for any medical and or other charges in connection with my child’s attendance at this camp. I certify that my child is covered by the medical insurance policy above.

Sports teams and activities groups will be allowed to start summer workouts and practices.
While social distancing will be observed as much as possible, parents should understand that
student-athletes will be allowed to compete in sport-specific skills, including scrimmaging and
normal sports-specific contact. Because of this, we will take the temperatures of all athletes
upon arrival and prior to participation. We reserve the right to send students home if their
temperature does not fall within the normal range.
Disinfecting of inside spaces, including the gyms, and practice areas will be done
both regularly and vigorously. Disinfectant that kills all viruses will be used to wipe off all equipment being used for the camps. After each group has used the gym, the area will be cleaned and disinfected.

The pandemic of 2020 has created unusual circumstances for all of us.
The second phase will allow students to participate on Ray-Pec outdoor fields and indoor
facilities, including gyms, weight rooms, and practice areas at the high school, and both Ray-Pec
Middle Schools. We will be disinfecting all these areas as completely as possible during these
summer workouts. However, students will have to bring their own water and their own towels
for use.  

4 out of the last 6 years the Panthers have won or competed for the District Championship.   2020 the Panthers advanced to the Quarterfinal game for the first time since 1995.  Our program's continued success is based in large part to the commitment of our players to be their best and to learn the skills taught at our camps.  We encourage every future Panther players to take part in our camps.
