2024 Author's on the Riverwalk Des Moines Interest Form

Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm (VIP & Catered Lunch) • 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm (FREE to the public)
Location:  Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown • Des Moines, IA

- This space is a limited space. You will have one week to pay for your space after the invoice is filled out. We want to ensure that all authors who want to participate can get in on the event, and not be held up due to waiting on a payment from another author for weeks, or even months.

EVENT FEES:
- Table fees are $75 for a full table
           • What is included:
• Catered lunch
• 1 Assistant
• WIFI
• Author listed on the Authors on the Riverwalk website
• Coffee/Water/Juice bar
• Group & Individual Photos
• Author After Party Ticket (all assistants will need to purchase a ticket)
- You may purchase additional 6' tables for a cost.
- Additional Assistant fee is $25 - this cost covers their catered meal and all the others listed above.

- Early Set up - Friday May 24, 2024 (time slots to be announced at a later time).
- Set up will take place from 7:00 am  - 10:00 am -  Individual and Group photos will start at 10:00 am.
- VIP will have early access to the event from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
- Lunch 10:30 - 11:30
General Signing will be from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.

- Attending authors will be invited into a private Facebook group for further discussion/details about the event.

After Party Tickets: $30/each ticket
• We will be hosting an After Party that will run from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Entertainment will be a DJ and the location will be announced coming soon.

Referral Bonus:
• This referral bonus is HUGE for you amazing authors. Enlight of Raven's author referral success in 2023, this year we will be doing something differently. We will implement incentives for PAID referrals.
• 1 Referral - they MUST put you down on the form that lists you as the REFERRAL (must be on the form not via mouth, email, or text)! The person that referred the author will receive 25% off their entry AND the paying author WILL receive 25% off their entry fee. This is a ONE time credit. You will NOT get the credit for each author that pays with you as the referral.
• 2 Referrals - The author who referred them (must be on the form not via mouth, email, or text) will receive the first choice of their table selection. The paying author WILL receive 25% off their entry fee.
• 3+ Referrals - The author who referred them (must be on the form not via mouth, email, or text) will receive their name on the VIP/Swag Bags, & their name on the entrance banner. The paying author/s WILL receive 25% off their entry fee.
****Please note - you only receive a 1x credit for 25% if they put you down as a referral, not 25% for each referral. Follow the chart you see above so you know what you will receive for all the referrals. However, each of the referrals WILL receive 25% WHEN they pay. You will only receive 25% off when they pay for their space in FULL. 
Please note:
~ I will send out invites for the event and you will have a two week cut off date. If I have not received a response within two weeks of the email being sent out, your space will be forfeited and left open for the next author.
~ 1/2 of the payment is due within two weeks from the day the invoice is sent, and the remaining will be due 6 months before the event is held. If the remaining amount is not paid for by December 25, 2023 your space/s will be offered to another author.
Please Note:
Once again - this is an interest form for this event only. Filling out this form does not guarantee you a spot. If the spaces are full, you will be contacted and added to the backup list. Once your table fees have been paid your space has been guaranteed and, there will be no refunds available. If you should need to cancel your space you can sell your space to another author as long as I have approved this in advance.
