JC Moving is a fully insured and bonded full service moving company capable of doing labor-only, dump runs, furniture donations, packing service, local moves, and long distance moves.

We have a three-hour minimum charge for our labor and it includes our drive time.

By filling out this form, we can give you our most accurate estimate for you. Your final bill may differ from your estimate because we charge by the hour in 15-minute increments from the time we leave the shop until the time we get back to the shop.

We typically start the work day at 7:30 AM. Morning jobs are given priority. It is more difficult to schedule a job later in the morning or afternoon.

It is highly recommended that customer put their TVs and other similar electronic devices back in their original packaging or in a specialized TV box. We are not liable for any damage to these devices if they are not in their proper packaging.

These are items that require expertise and highly technical skill to move safely including but not limited to pianos, grandfather clocks, hot tubs, and pool tables. Please describe your specialty item(s) in the "Other..." section

Number of items over 250 pounds *
Items like safes, pool tables, hot tubs, fireproof filing cabinet, wood stove, riding lawnmower, snowblower, etc. We cannot transport flammable materials, all fuel tanks must be completely dry in order to be moved. JC Moving charges a heavy item fee of $1/lb for items over 250 pounds.
Are there any steep hills, gravel, or dirt roads we will have to drive over? *
Taking large trucks on these types of roads can be dangerous. Rain, snow, and icy conditions will often require rescheduling for safety.

Would you like us to pack all your belongings into boxes for you? Our full packing service is an additional charge. *
If full packing service is not requested, the customer is expected to have all belongings packed into boxes by the date of the move.

A city or in-town move often requires the customer to reserve parking through the city or town hall. If you have a move in an area that is busy or has congested traffic, reserving parking in front of the building prevents the need to reschedule. *

It is the customer's responsibility to provide a clear driving path and parking area for large JC Moving trucks to have a safe loading and unloading zone close to the job site. *
