Well-Being Fee Waiver Guidelines (IMPORTANT! Read before completing application)

The Well-Being Fee Waiver, provided by UC Davis Campus Recreation, aims to support the health, wellness, and equity of our students by making recreational activities more affordable. To ensure the integrity and fairness of our program, we have established the following best practices for using promotional codes. Promo codes are strictly personal and can only be used by the students to whom they were awarded. Policy violations include sharing your code, using the code for a class not specified in the application, and using your code more than once. Students found in violation of these guidelines may face disqualification from future participation in the Well-Being Fee Waiver program. Additionally, misuse of promo codes could lead to charges on a student's Banner Account.

Applicants must be current and active UC Davis students.  UC Davis Extension students are NOT eligible. Before applying, ensure you meet the requirements (including prerequisites) for your desired activity. The Fee Waiver applies only to programming and activities, and does NOT apply to certifications (eg Lifeguard or OA certs). 𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗡𝗘 (𝟭) 𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻). Submissions are evaluated on the thoroughness, thoughtfulness, and completeness of all responses in the application.  Incomplete applications, activities not offered through the rec.ucdavis.edu portal, and requests for certifications will not be reviewed. Granted waivers do not guarantee a space in the desired activity. Awards are granted for student-level pricing, and some graduate students may need to pay the difference in pricing.
