The Mt. Shasta Elementary School Site Council is holding its annual election of family/caregiver members.  This Site Council is made up of eight seats and half are parent or family member/community member representatives and the other half are staff members.  The principal has a standing seat on the Council.   The Site Council is primarily responsible for overseeing the Title I intervention services and conducting the annual survey measuring stakeholders’ feelings around school safety, student achievement, and happiness.
