New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB) Forum 2023-24
Purpose of the NYSSB Forum:  to offer guidance and support on the NYSSB, as well as the opportunity for participants to ask questions, discuss, and network with other Seal coordinators.  Attendance at the monthly meetings is completely voluntary and CTLE credit will be awarded on a semester basis for any meetings attended.  All meetings will be on selected Mondays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  Topics will be posted in advanced so that coordinators can choose to attend one, several, or all meetings, depending on their needs.  Minutes will be made available on a shared Google drive for when participants are unable to attend a particular meeting.  

Who can participate:  Seal Coordinators, Heads and Assistant Heads of School, members of a school- or district-based Seal of Biliteracy Committee (including English, ESOL, and World Language teachers, and School Counselors), and District Data Coordinators

Meeting Dates:  The NYSSB Forum will meet virtually (via Zoom) from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on the following dates: September 18th, October 16th, November 6th, December 18th, January 8th, February 12th, March 11th, April 15th, May 6th, and June 10th.
