Youth Environmental Summit Student Leadership Application for the 2024-2025 school year
Welcome to the student leadership application for Delaware's sixth annual 2025 YES! - the Youth Environmental Summit.  We are so excited that you are taking the initiative to be part of this annual student-led summit. The conference is created and led by wonderful students such as yourself!

This opportunity is open to any student residing in or attending school in Delaware who will be in high school in the 2024-2025 school year.

The vision of YES! is to empower, educate, inform, engage and activate high school students statewide regarding leadership in environmental issues, including sustainability, zero waste principles, green school initiatives, climate change ramifications, and encourage activism and advocacy on this issues at the local, state and federal levels.

Student leaders develop the content for the summit including securing speakers for workshops and the keynote speakers, developing networking opportunities, soliciting sponsors, planning logistics, and much more.  They begin meeting in August and generally meet once or twice a month through to the Summit.
