2024 Confirmation Name Selection Form
Choose a saint you feel a draw to for your confirmation name. The patron saint then serves as your guide and protector. Challenge yourself to dive into learning about many saints and spend time in prayer to see what saint God brings forth for you. 
Use books, the internet, and the Formed app to learn more about the saints and their lives. Here are the guidelines from the Archbishop.  

-Candidates may use their baptismal name or another Christian name when receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. 

-A Christian name would be the name of a saint or blessed. Old Testament names are also appropriate.

-The candidate should know the relationship of the name to the religious Christian tradition.

-Most importantly, candidates should be encouraged to learn about their patron as part of their preparation for the sacrament and should particularly focus on the virtues of the patron they wish to emulate.
