Australian Therapy Services Asia: "Rethinking Support Service Design in Schools"
Dear Colleagues,

Join this webinar with Lorelle Evans, Clinical Director of Australian Therapy Services Asia

Based on Australian estimates 20-25% of children starting school need additional Allied Health support. These additional support needs impact their ability to reach their full potential in the classroom.
For students and families in international markets access to Allied Health services have previously been restricted by what is available in their immediate location. For many students this has meant long wait-lists, long commutes or students going without. For teachers, this has meant limited access to the resources, support and training to help their student's reach their learning goals.
With improvements in technology, online services mean access to support is not limited by locality. In this talk, we want to explore how schools can rethink the provision of allied health and support services in the context of virtual services. We will review models of care for support services in schools and consider how these models can be accessed using virtual services. We will provide a framework for schools to analyse their needs and consider their priorities.
