Already looked for an Available item in the library but could not find it on the shelf? The Jackson Library Search Team will search for it for you:
o
If the item is housed in the Jackson Library Stacks locations, place a request on it by following the “To Place Requests” directions on this page:
https://library.uncg.edu/borrowing/requesting_library_materials.aspx.
o
If the item is housed in any of these collections: Audiobook, Current Literature, DVD, Jewish Studies Room, Noel & Tom Kirby-Smith Poetry, Paperback, Young Adult/Graphic Novel, fill out this search form.
If not found after the first search, it will be marked missing in the catalog and possibly become eligible for Interlibrary Loan by UNCG students and employees. If we find the item it will be put on hold for you, checked out to you, and you will be notified via email of available pickup and delivery options. If we don't find the item by the end of the 6 week search period, we will contact you with additional information.
While you are waiting, UNCG students and employees can check out other options for borrowing from other libraries at
http://library.uncg.edu/borrowing/other_libraries.aspx.
***If you have more than one item you cannot find, please fill out this form for each item. And to ensure that information about items is accurate, copy and paste it from your My Library Account, notice or our catalog. (To obtain call numbers in My Library Count, click on the item titles.) Doing these things will make it faster and easier for us to search for all of the items.
