Students should have no more than two (2) absences for any concert cycle. This may be reduced if an ensemble has a shorter rehearsal cycle than average. A concert cycle is defined as the first rehearsal on repertoire to be performed on a given concert through that concert performance.

One (1) unreported absence will be considered one and a half (1.5) absences.

Attendance is mandatory for all dress rehearsals. Students must seek special permission from respective artistic directors to perform at the concert if they are absent from dress rehearsal. Excusal from dress rehearsals is not guaranteed.

If a member accrues more than two (2) absences within a concert cycle, they may not be permitted to participate in the performance for that concert cycle. Their participation is at the sole discretion of the director.
