Thank you for your interest in serving at God’s school in ministry to His students. All substitutes are volunteers and do not receive benefits that are of this world. We choose to store up our treasures in Heaven knowing that they will last there for all eternity. Hours serving as a substitute do count towards family volunteer hours for the year. If you believe that God is drawing you to serve Him at His school as a substitute, please answer each question prayerfully.

Children are a gift from God and are to be nurtured and guided according to God's Holy Word in the inspired scriptures in the Bible.

Substitues will be accountable to the LORD and will conduct their behavior in and out of the classroom in a way that Honors God in all ways.

All campuses have monitoring and recording devices in place and are used throughout the school day. By entering our buildings or classrooms you understand that their may be video and or audio recordings at any point on any campus.

All discipline and correction of student behaviors will be handled by ACA staff members.

Worship and devotion time is sacred and set apart as unto the LORD. Students should not do anything other than worship, take notes, and listen attentively to worship and devotion time. Any adults/substitutes should also be fully engaged during our devotion and worship time. Substitutes should not use cell phones or any other form of distraction and should model good listening skills and how to take notes and follow along during devotions.

Do not be alone with any student at any time. This is for the protection of volunteers and students.

All substitutes should follow the lesson plans and instructions of the classroom teacher. Communicate any questions, concerns, and progress of the lesson plans with the classroom teacher. Record attendance on paper for the day and communicate attendance and tardies with the classroom teacher.
