Bethesda's famous food and music festival brings 60 restaurants and five stages of entertainment to Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle.

Each year, more than 40,000 attendees sample the delicious restaurants, enjoy the live entertainment and visit the kid's corner for face painting and arts & crafts. The festival is held from 11am - 4pm.

The Bethesda Urban Partnership is currently recruiting volunteers for Taste of Bethesda on Saturday, October 5, 2019!  We need 100 volunteers who are vital to the success of this delicious day! Never volunteered before? Don’t worry – every team has a “Captain” who will show you the ropes.  All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent fill out and sign a Youth Volunteer Permission Form (please contact the volunteer coordinator).

We are recruiting for the following positions:


Set-up Team*
7am – 10am

The set-up team assists with placing tablecloths on all event tables, hanging signs, assisting restaurants with set-up and sets up drink tents.

Festival Volunteer
10:30am – 1:30pm OR 1:30pm-4pm

Assist with a variety of jobs including but not limited to: selling drinks from drink tickets, helping to manage parking garages, passing out materials and other duties as assigned.
