Arts for the Heart of England, a new arts organisation based in Rutland, would like to recruit an intern for their Summer Festival taking place between Friday 19th and Sunday 21st June 2020. The ideal candidate will have an interest in music/drama and aspire to work in the arts industry. We are looking for an approachable, friendly, organised and reliable individual with good interpersonal skills. No prior work experience is necessary, though a willingness to learn and to take the initiative is essential.

The intern will help ensure the smooth running of two evenings concerts. Duties will include working on the box office, selling programmes, serving refreshments, alongside generally assisting audience members and performers.

Applicants must be:
- between the ages of 14 and 18 on 19th June 2020.
- a resident of Rutland.
- available between 6.00pm and 10.00pm on Friday 19th June in Oakham and 6.00pm and 10.00pm on Saturday 20th June in Exton (10 mins drive from Oakham).

The intern will receive £60 as payment for their time, as well as a free ticket to both performances. We will also provide the intern with a reference, which may be useful for higher education applications and initiatives such as DofE.
