Thanks to our generous sponsors and donations from our membership, the Deep-Sea Biology Society is delighted to announce that we have additional resources to cover the online-only attendance fees for anyone that would just like to attend online (not presenting) at the 16th Deep-Sea Biology Symposium. If successful, and funds are available, the DSBS will arrange your registration directly with the symposium host, IFREMER, France. There is no deadline, we will maintain this funding stream open until all funds are used up.

Process to apply for these awards

1. Please confirm your Deep-Sea Biology Society membership number. by logging in at this site and checking your profile page: https://dsbsoc.wildapricot.org
2. If you are not an active member, please join at that page. If you cannot afford to pay the membership, you can apply for a waiver of the membership fee by emailing membership@dsbsoc.org prior to making payment. Include your institutional affiliation and the appropriate membership category in that email.
3. Once you have your membership number please apply for your online-only attendance award by filling this form
4. Successful applicants will receive an email from the Society and will be registered by the Society for the 16th DSBS (online-only, not presenting). You will then receive further instructions from the 16th DSBS organising committee by email on how to join the meeting.
