Phone Numbers for NHS Test and Trace
Liverpool HEMA needs to collect contact details for the NHS Test and Trace scheme on behalf of the venue, as per the new regulations in England. This includes a phone number, along with the names and attendance details we already keep for insurance purposes.

We usually take an email address for contact purposes, since it is part of the GDPR that we should not collect personal data that we do not intend to process, and we normally have no formal need for phone numbers. Since the new regulations for the NHS Test and Trace scheme require a phone number, we must now collect this information and provide our venue manager with the list of names and telephone numbers of participants after each session.

You are allowed to opt out of the the NHS Test and Trace scheme either by choosing not to provide your details or by explicitly ticking the opting out box below. If you opt out in either fashion, we will still provide your name to the venue manager after each session you attend, but will also note that you have opted out of the scheme and have chosen not to provide contact details.
