Technically Games is a community run free online conference on all things technical in games art, programming and security.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with running a safe and engaging event.
Volunteers must
- Be over the age of 18 to apply
- Be available on the 21st of November 2020 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)
- Read and abide by the Technically Games Code of Conduct (
https://technicallygames.com.au/conduct/)
- Provide their own internet and computer required to access the online event
AV Team responsibilities
- Attend training and practice AV checks as required before the event
- Help run the stream for one to two, 2 hour shifts during the conference
- Provide basic guidance to speakers during your shifts
- Move speakers and MC between the back stage and live stream area, or queue pre-recorded talks as required
Moderation Team responsibilities
- Help moderate the Discord server for one to two, 2 hour shifts during the conference
- Work with your fellow moderation team members to uphold the code of conduct
- Escalate issues if required
- Monitor Discord for Q&A responses, and message them to the MC
Stream MC responsibilities
- Be the face of Technically Games for one to two, 2 hour shifts during the conference
- Introduce speakers before their live or pre-recorded talk
- Ask questions that the moderation team forward you from Discord
