Content editing can be a involved and lengthy process, depending on how much revision your book needs. You should plan to start the content editing process with your editor 5 or 6 months before your final deadline so you can have time for the rest of the publishing process.

WHAT TO EXPECT
An Author Ready content editor will contact you to schedule a brief evaluation at no charge. After that evaluation, you will receive a price proposal. If you approve the proposal, Author Ready will send you an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your editor can begin work on your book. Any additional work beyond the price proposal must be approved by you, billed by Author Ready, and paid in full before the additional work can be completed.
