Shaler Area Grades 6-7-8 Summer Education Camps- Interest Survey
The Shaler Area School District will be hosting a 2-week virtual literacy and/or math camp for students currently enrolled in grades 6-7-8 as of the 2020-21 school year. Both camps will run from August 2, 2021 to August 13, 2021. These camps are designed to help students "get ready" for the new school year.

We are mindful of the strain a remote environment can create; our intention is to offer a fun and engaging program to "gear up" students for the 21-22 school year. The program will provide a variety of activities to promote, remediate, and develop strong math or literacy skills for students in Grades 6-7-8.

The camps will provide a variety of activities for students currently enrolled in Grades 6-7-8.  The program will include a variety of pre-selected activities that are focused on age-appropriate themes to reinforce foundational skills for the upcoming school year.  Teachers will virtually facilitate instructional activities related to content material via Google Classroom and engage in a culminating activity onsite at the conclusion of the program.
