MSU CS HUB Grant -   March 13thNetworks and Technology

Networks and Technology is one of the more challenging standards.  Students use networks everyday but know little about them.  This professional development experience will look at understanding the basics of networks: what is a network, what are the technologies that create networks, how do we maintain networks and how do computers interact on networks.  We will work on understanding TCP/IP, protocols and packet switching.  This experience will be oriented towards middle school teachers though all teachers are welcome.
