Fall 2022 Conservation Careers Exploration Day Application Form
This form is to register for either or both of the Careers in Conservation: Career Exploration Day events hosted by Maui Huliau Foundation on November 6th and November 13th, 2022. After you submit this form, our staff will contact you and your parent/guardian via email to complete registration.
Events:

1. Sunday November 6th: Makai Careers Exploration Day 8:30am-2pm in Maʻalaea (Maui Ocean Center & Harbor area) focusing on careers in marine science fields

2. Sunday November 13th: Mauka Careers Exploration Day 8:30am-2pm in ʻĪao Valley (Hawaiʻi Nature Center)
focusing on careers in freshwater, watershed, and native forest protection

Both events are free and participation is limited to just 48 students. To participate you must be able to attend the entire event from 8:30am to 2pm.

This event is open only to youth ages 13-21 (grades 8-12 or college-age youth). 

*Preference will be given to those who did not attend last years (Spring 2022) Careers Exploration Events. However, participants who attended last years events will but put on a waitlist.

Enter the name of your high school or college. If you are not currently in school, enter the high school you graduated from and in what year. Youth ages 18-21 do NOT have to be currently enrolled in college to participate. *A minimum of 50% of spots will be for high school students in grades 9-12.

This event is open only to youth in grades 9-12, or college-age youth ages 18-21. We have had a few requests from 8th graders wanting to apply, so we have decided to start a waiting list for 8th grade students who may attend if all spots are not filled. 8th grade students who apply will be contacted with an update the week of the event.
