Have you participated in the Jewish Learning Fellowship previously? (Note that this is not a requirement.) *
We'd love to get to know you a bit better! Please tell us your Jewish story. *
Why do you want to be a JLF Intern? *
One role of the JLF intern is to help recruit other students to apply to be fellows. What are some of your ideas on how to do that? *
What is one question (Jewish or not) that you currently have on your mind? (We may or may not answer it, but we're curious to know what's on your mind!) *
Do you have any experience with student engagement or mentorship, Jewish or otherwise? (e.g. engagement intern, community organizing, etc.)? (Not a requirement for the role.) *
If  so, what is your experience?
Have you participated in a Birthright free trip to Israel? *
Required
How did you hear about JLF? *
Required
Which, if any of these, have you participated in previously? Please check all that apply. (Does not affect candidacy.)
How else have you participated in Jewish life since becoming a college student?
Please indicate any dietary restrictions? (e.g. gluten free, kosher, etc.) *Applicable only if/when the university lifts its food restrictions. *
JLF Life's Big Questions is currently scheduled for Thursdays from 5-6:30pm (6:15 when we cannot serve food) and this is unlikely to change. However, if you want to be an intern but can't make those times, we encourage you to apply anyway and fill out your schedule here, as there MIGHT be some flexibility in rearranging the JLF schedule:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
5:00-6:30
5:30-7:00
6:00-7:30
6:30-8:00
7:00-8:30
7:30-9:00
8:00-9:30
8:30-10:00
Is there anything we need to know about the schedule above? (E.g. you could arrive 5 minutes late to Wednesdays at 7:30, Tuesdays are doable but not ideal, etc.)
Thursday, April 21 is the seventh night of Passover and is a holiday (chag), which means that some Jews do not work on that evening (including writing). Do you observe the holiday in such a way that you could not participate in JLF that evening (in which case we will reschedule), or would you be able to meet for JLF? *
Who else might want to join Life's Big Questions this semester? List their names here (and if you really want them to join, please invite them!): *
In addition to occasional emails from the JLF team, would you be interested in receiving emails about future Jewish opportunities for young adults from Hillel's funders? *
