University Unitarian Church is allotted 10 delegate positions by the Unitarian
Universalist Association for the 2024 UUA General Assembly, which will be
held virtually June 20-23 this year. Delegates will be confirmed by the Board of Trustees at its May 26 business meeting, with any additional appointments or substitutions confirmed by its designee until all openings are filled.
Applications are requested by April 30. Later applications may be considered as long as delegate seats are available. Should more than 10 applications be received by the initial deadline, the Board will prioritize candidates who represent a diverse cross-section of UUC membership.
Delegates must be:
- UUC Members in Good Standing
- Registered for General Assembly 2024
- Committed to being present and prepared to vote on all matters of business by reviewing delegate information provided by the UUA and by attending General Sessions during the Assembly
- Willing to report back to the congregation at an informational gathering after General Assembly (date to be determined by the delegates)
