Novel Corona Virus Vaccines: The Latest Information
Presented by Dr. Jep Hostetler

Tuesday, December 15 @ 7:00 p.m. EST - online lecture

Do you know what ChAdOx1nCoV-19 is? Neither did I. But it may be coming to your town soon and you may want to be a part of its administration. This is AstraZeneca’s name for one of the three major vaccines for COVID 19, or as it was originally known, novel corona virus. Developed in cooperation with University of Oxford, it is known as the Oxford AstraZenica Vaccine.
There are two other vaccines also soon ready for market (waiting approval of the FDA) for “emergency use”. They are BNT162b2, which is Pfizer’s entrance into the marketplace and mRNA-1273, Moderna Therapeutic’s product. Still confused? Why not join us for a clear update on what is happening in the corona virus vaccine world?
There are numerous other labs that are on a timeline to come out with their own vaccines: Johnson and Johnson, Novavax, Bharat Biotech (India) and others. Some are just starting their clinical trials.
How do these products work? How are they made? How could they be made so quickly? Should you be quick to sign up for one of them? How will they be distributed? Who will be first in line? These and other questions will be answered by Dr. Hostetler’s presentation on “Novel Corona Virus Vaccines: The Latest information” via this special Lifelong Learning Lecture. This will be a ZOOM lectures, with questions and responses at the end. Please join us for this complimentary lecture.
