SWVADA Brost JR/YR Grant
Jerry and Patty Brost have generously offered to fund a Jr/Yr annual grant. This grant is intended to help offset the financial costs incurred by our younger dressage enthusiasts, to further their education through competition or other learning opportunities.

Criteria
- Applicant must be a SWVADA member in good standing, and no older than 21 years.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer time in the membership year, which runs from December 1 to November 30.
- Grant amounts up to $500 per membership year per recipient may be awarded.
- Grants are awarded as a reimbursement of expenses only.
- Grants are non-transferrable.
- Grants are awarded solely on the information provided on the Grant Application Form (forms can be found on www.SWVADA.org).
-There shall be no discrimination based on race, sex, ability, religion, or disability.
- The Grant Application Forms must be filled out in their entirety.
- Once completed, the below Grant Application Form will be submitted to the SWVADA President.
- The President will forward the submitted form to the Board and Standing Committee Chairs for review and voting.
- The applicant will be informed of the decision made by the Board and Standing Committee Chairs within 30 days of receipt of the application.
- The Grant recipient is required to share his/her experience with the club. Examples on
ways to share may include but are not limited to: Write an article that can be shared with the
membership, do a short presentation at a meeting or other club gathering. This requirement
must be completed within 3 months of receiving the funds.
