We are excited to host the first adaptive mountain bike race in the Southeast in conjunction with the End of Summer Jam hosted by Ride Kanuga. We are looking for mountain bikers (who own their own bike) to join us in supporting adaptive riders coming from all over the Southeast.
These will be two days packed with fun and riding. As a volunteer, you will be teamed up with another volunteer and will act as tail riders behind the adaptive athletes. In the case that your athlete runs off the course, you will be there to support them with getting back on. We may also need your help with assisting the athletes back up to the top of the course.
Schedule:
Saturday, September 3: Training and Practice
2:00-3:00: New Volunteer Training
3:00-5:00: Practice Runs (volunteers join racers for practice runs)
