The Society of Winterthur Fellows Board of Directors is made up of 11 volunteer alumni who are elected to the Board by the entire Society membership. With the bylaws changes voted into effect last year, each director serves for a maximum of two 3-year terms. The directors meet by phone or online platform once a month to plan events, discuss membership, and chart the future of the Society. As the Society continues to grow and evolve, the Board is committed to nominating and electing Society members who reflect the personal and professional diversity of our alumni body and provide parity in representation between the Culture and Conservation programs.
This year we are continuing our use of an online proxy-submission system. This proxy form must be received by noon on Friday, November 11, so it can be counted before our virtual Annual Meeting at 6 p.m. EST. Please note that only active dues-paying members of the Society are eligible to vote in person or by proxy. If you aren’t sure of your membership status, please sign on to
sowf.org to check, and join or renew if necessary prior to submitting your proxy form. Your membership will be good for one calendar year, and you may choose automatic renewal if desired.
This year, SOWF Webmaster Lauren Fair (WUDPAC 2010) has finished her term of service on the Board of Directors, so we will be electing one new director. We thank Lauren for her valuable contributions to our alumni community. For a full list of the current Board of Directors, visit
