Thank you for applying to the UN|HUSHED Youth Advisory Council (YAC). The UN|HUSHED YAC is being developed to support the quality and relevance of comprehensive sexuality education and associated materials that have been developed for teenagers and young adults. We believe that there is no better way to do this than including the voices of youth.

YAC members will be expected to review the UN|HUSHED middle school and high school curricula and provide feedback from their youth ("near peer") perspective. There may be other areas where members can provide support to the organization, depending on their availability and interest. The details beyond curricula review will be negotiated and navigated among members and with UN|HUSHED staff. The expected time commitment is flexible and variable over the two year commitment, but will average between 2 and 5 hours per week.

In exchange for their work, YAC members will receive a small stipend (see below for details), professional development support, and leadership guidance throughout their two years. We are currently working on a website with more detailed information.

This application is rolling, so we accept applications at any time. Our first cohort will begin in January of 2021. To be part of the second group, please submit this application by June 1, 2021.
