Purpose of the Agreement 

The agreement describes the terms under which the Credible News dataset can be used by interested parties. The Credible News (In Search of Credible News) dataset focuses on the problem of automatically distinguishing credible from fake or funny news. The examples are articles collected from six Bulgarian news websites. The included documents cover various topics such as politics (both local and global), sports, lifestyle, and pop culture.

Terms of Use and Data Access 

The data and the information may only be used for research purposes and is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Portions of the data are copyrighted and have commercial value as data, so you must be careful to use it only for research purposes. Due to these restrictions, the Credible News collection is not open data. 

Summaries, analysis and interpretations of the linguistic properties of the information may be derived and published, provided that this does not make it possible to reconstruct the original data from these summaries. 

You may not try to identify the news entities whose texts are included in this dataset. You may not try to identify the original entry in the news web site. 

You are not permitted to publish any portion of the dataset other than summary statistics.

You cannot share the data with anybody. 

We grant you the right to access the collection's content in the manner described in this agreement. You may not otherwise make unauthorized commercial use of, reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute copies, perform, or publicly display the collection or parts of it. 

You are responsible to keep and store the data in a way that cannot be accessed by others. The data is provided free of charge. 

You may present research findings concerning knowledge obtained using the collection provided that the aforementioned presentation is within the limits of this agreement.
