Would you be interested in paid work opportunities on site? (please note: only 1099 independent contractor positions are available. Depending on availability you may be able to earn up to 100% of your rents back in contract income. Time and Materials (T&M) contracts start at $15/hr and cap at $45/hr based on a variety of factors. 1099 forms will be issued and there will be tax liability for your earnings. No benefits will be provided, opportunities are offered based on availability. Larger projects may be bid separately.)

If you are interested in independent contract positions, please select which types of work you would be able to perform (please note: to be eligible you must have current or previous paid work experience in the selected field, you must be able to work autonomously, you must have or be willing to purchase your own tools or any other items you need to perform the job, you must have work references, you must have your own health insurance, you must sign an independent contractor agreement, and again a 1099 will be issued and there will be tax liability for your earnings)
As part of the application process, it is highly encouraged that applicants first book a farm stay, which will include a farm tour. All booking fees will be applied to the deposit if you are accepted into the program.  However, a farm stay is not required. If you elect not to book a farm stay prior to acceptance, you would be accepting the residential options, farmland and infrastructure on an AS IS basis, sight unseen.
*
An in-person or virtual interview is required as part of the application process.  In person interviews may take place during the farm stay.  However, if you do not wish to book a farm stay, please indicate your availability for a virtual interview below (e.g., Monday mornings, Friday afternoons, etc.)
As part of the application process I agree to participate in a background check (please note: this is a very accepting place; any findings on the background check are not automatically disqualifying, but will require a second interview, and may require additional contracts/agreements to be signed on a case by case basis)
*
Once accepted into the program, to secure your position, you will need to submit a deposit equivalent to your last month's rent. Monthly rent includes: the Land Access rent ($100), plus any additional land/infrastructure rents, and any residential farm stay rents. (For example, if you are able to reserve the chicken coop (+$50/month) and plan to camp with indoor facility access (+$150/month), your deposit and monthly rent would be $100 + $50 + $150 = $300). Please enter the amount of your deposit / monthly rent below.
*
If accepted into the program, you will need to agree not to participate in any illegal activities, including consumption of illegal drugs.
*
If accepted into the program, you will need to agree to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks of engaging in the farming and agritourism activities. This is mainly to inform you of the kinds of risks you might encounter, so that you can have true autonomy here.
