Seminar: Dragon Boat Safety - Deep Dive Life Jackets

Dragon boat coaches, team managers, captains, steerspersons, drummers, and even paddlers should consider safety your highest priority. If you lead, you know your paddlers will come to you for advice on life jackets. There are many life jacket options and understanding your life jacket from core to shell will help you to choose the best for you, guide your paddlers to choose the best for them., and to ensure those life jackets work reliably into the future.  This seminar will take you from the fundamental function and certification of a life jacket through the design and engineering of a life jacket. 


Phillip Curry, Founder and CEO of Astral Designs, who has been designing and manufacturing life jackets for over 20 years will be our honored guest speaker for this event.
